Terms and Conditions Validity

Retail prices are updated as of 1 April 2020. All rates are in local currency and include relevant taxes. Downhill Karting by Skyline Luge reserves the right to alter published prices at any time.

Rides are subject to a strict code of conduct. Height restrictions apply to accompanied children.

Skyline reserves the right to refuse entry and may ask those who break the code of conduct to leave without refund.

Please note that age/height restrictions apply for children to ride the track solo.

Online Purchase Refund Policy

Tickets purchased online but not redeemed are valid for 12 months from date of purchase. Unredeemed tickets that have expired are non-refundable.

Tickets redeemed at our Ticket Booth are valid only on the date of redemption. Unused rides are not refundable and non-transferable.

Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct sets out the rules that help make Downhill Karting a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

  • Obey signs and instruction

    Comply with all track signs and warnings. Follow all instructions and directions from Karting staff. 

  • Height restrictions

    To ride the Downhill Kart solo, you must be over 110cm in height.

  • No alcohol or drugs

    Do not ride the Donwhill Kart if your ability or judgement is impaired through use of alcohol or Drugs. 

  • Secure loose clothing and articles

    Long hair, loose or trailing clothing, bags, backpacks or items, are hazardous and must be secured.

  • No helmet, no ride

    Helmets must be worn at all times while on the Kart track.

  • No handheld devices

    Handheld devices must not be used at any time during chairlift and Kart ride. 

  • Keep both hands on the handlebars at all times

    Do not ride with one hand as it limits control of the Kart. 

  • Keep your feet in Downhill Kart at all times

    Do not put your feet outside of the Kart foot-well unless completely stopped. 

  • Pull back to stop

    To slow or stop the Kart pull handle bars back toward you. Do not stop by pushing handlebars forward. 

  • Keep it under control

    Remain in control of Kart speed and direction at all times. Make sure you can stop and avoid any person or obstacle.

  • No bumping, skidding. No group racing!

    Do not bump into other Karts. Do not skid the Kart wheels. Racing in groups is not allowed.

  • Give way to those below

    Give way to people downhill and choose a course that ensures their safety.

  • Don’t block the track

    Do not stop on the track unless you’re visible to riders above. If stuck, move to the side of the track so you’re not a hazard to others.
