100 Million Rides Grand Prize Terms & Conditions

Competition Duration

The competition runs from 6th June 2025 to 31st July 2025. Entries received after this closing date will be ineligible. The winner will be selected by Skyline during August 2025. 

How to Enter

To enter, participants must share a photo and a story about their Skyline Luge / Downhill Karting experience on Instagram. The post must include the hashtag #100MillionLugeCanada and #100MillionLuge and tag @downhillkarting_yyc and @skylinelugemonttremblant in the photo. 

Participants may submit unlimited entries, as long as each is a separate post. 

Eligibility

Open to all residents of Canada aged 18 and over. Employees of Skyline and their immediate family members are not eligible. Skyline reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify those deemed ineligible or fraudulent. 

Prize

One grand prize: A trip to a Skyline Location in New Zealand for up to four people (maximum: 2 adults, 2 children under 18). 

Prize includes: 

  • Return flights to New Zealand (arranged via Skyline’s travel partner) 
  • Accommodation for up to 7 days (details to be confirmed) 
  • Entry to one Skyline Location

Prize value: Maximum $10,000 CAD. If the total cost is under this amount, the winner will not receive the difference. 

Winner Selection and Notification

The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries and contacted via Instagram DM or email in August 2025. 

If the winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours, or cannot confirm prize redemption availability within 3 days, an alternate winner may be selected. Skyline’s decision is final. 

Prize Redemption

Winner must reside in Canada and hold valid travel documents. 

The trip must be booked in August 2025 and taken during either: 

  • September 2025 – November 2025, or 
  • February 2026 – May 2026 

If the winner is unable to travel during the specified periods, the prize will be forfeited. 

The winner is responsible for passports, visas, insurance, and any other expenses not specified, including food, local transport, and spending money. 

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. 

Marketing & Privacy

By entering, participants agree to allow Skyline to use their name, Instagram handle, image, and entry content (photo, caption, video) for marketing purposes in connection with this competition and future campaigns. No royalties or compensation will be paid. 

Participants must own the rights to the content they submit and indemnify Skyline against any third-party claims.

General Conditions

This competition is not affiliated with Instagram. Participants release Instagram from any liability related to the competition. 

By entering, participants consent to their name, suburb of residence, image, social media name or handle,  competition post – including their photos, videos, voices and stories) being used by Skyline for marketing and promotional purposes in connection with the competition and for future marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media and website content (including, but not limited to, reposting of entries on Skyline’s their entry/submission on the Skyline’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest accounts, website and blog within Skyline’s electronic direct mail communication pieces). Participants agree and acknowledge that they:

  • waive any claim to royalty, right or remuneration for such use, grant Skyline (and its licensees/assignees) a non-exclusive licence to exercise all rights in perpetuity throughout the world in the above material;
  • represent and warrant that the exercise of the rights granted to Skyline in these terms and conditions will not infringe the rights of any third parties; and
  • indemnify Skyline against any loss or damage resulting from any breach of the foregoing representation and warranty. 

The personal information of the winner may be provided to others assisting, including prize suppliers and deliverers.

If a participant does not truthfully provide all requested personal information, Skyline may determine that they are not eligible to win the prize.

The competition is not endorsed, sponsored, administered or associated with  Instagram or any other social media channel. At all times, participants agree to act in accordance with the Instagram Terms of Use, which can be viewed at https://instagram.com/about/legal/terms, and other related policies. By entering this competition, the participant agrees to release Instagram from any liability including for any loss, personal injury or damage.

Skyline reserves the right to modify, extend or cancel the competition at any time, for any reason. To the extent permitted by law, Skyline nor any other person or party associated with this competition is not responsible or liable for:

  • inaccurate/incorrect transcription of entry information;
  • purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, or are other than as directed in any competition instructions;
  • any problems, interruption, delay in operation, defect, deletion, omission, error or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
  • the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the internet or at any website;
  • unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
  • any factors beyond its control, including but not limited to force majeure events, natural disasters or government regulations;
  • electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
  • any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss arising in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a winner and, where applicable, to any travelling companion accompanying a winner; or
  • any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant’s or any other person’s electronic device or equipment related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.

Where part of the prize is to be supplied by an entity outside Skyline’s control and that entity fails, for whatever reason, to supply the prize, Skyline has no responsibility for the provision of the prize and is not obliged to provide an alternative prize or to take legal action to require the prize supplier to provide the prize.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Skyline nor any other person or party associated with this competition will be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this competition or with any prizes offered. If requested by Skyline, the winner and his or her travelling companions, must sign and return any liability release and indemnity provided by Skyline and/or its suppliers as a condition of the prize being awarded. Failure to return the signed releases and indemnities may result in the entitlement to the prize being forfeited and the selection of another winner.

The above conditions do not affect, and are not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of Skyline or its servant or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the cost of having the prize supplied again.
