Our Tickets Explained
From first timers to regulars, we’ve got a ticket to suit every rider.
Smart Saver Tickets allow you to beat the crowds and grab a deal by riding during our typically quieter sessions. Available during weekdays and for the first timeslot of operation on weekend mornings.
Classic Tickets allow you to jump on the track during our most popular sessions when the atmosphere is at its peak. These sessions are available on both Saturday and Sunday; available times are specified at checkout.
Peewee Rider Tickets are an additional charge that allows children to sit tandem with a full-paying adult over the age of 18.
Flexi Tickets are an additional option at checkout that allows you to change or cancel your booking, add them to your cart, and feel confident you can change or refund your ticket within the timeframes specified at checkout.

Additional Information:
- A Peewee Rider ticket allows a child to ride tandem in the Kart with a paying adult rider aged 18 years or older. The child must be aged 2 years+ and between 85cm and 110cm, can walk unassisted, fit a helmet and follow our staff’s instructions. Subject to staff discretion.
- If no Flexi Ticket is purchased, a $15 booking fee applies to any changes to your booking.
- Retail prices are subject to confirmation and will be updated once finalised. All rates are in local currency and include relevant taxes. Downhill Karting by Skyline Luge Calgary reserves the right to alter published prices at any time. For our full Terms & Conditions, please click here.
- Advance booking is required for all tickets. Please book your time slot online before arriving, as walk-ins cannot be guaranteed, especially during peak times (11am – 4pm).

Downhill Karting:
Children must be at least 6 years of age and over 110cm tall to be eligible to ride unaccompanied.
Children aged 2 years+ and over 85cm tall can ride the Karts in tandem with an adult aged 18+ years provided the child can walk unassisted, fit a helmet and follow our staff’s instructions. Please note both Kart drivers and tandem riders need to be able to fit in the cart safely to ride together.
Chairlift:
Children must be at least 6 years of age and over 135cm tall to be eligible to ride the chairlift unaccompanied.
Children aged 2 years+ and over 85cm tall can ride the chairlift with an adult aged 18+ years provided the child can walk unassisted and follow our staff’s instructions.
Additionally, guests need to be aware of and comply with the ‘Alpine Responsibility Code – Clause 10’ when boarding the chairlift: “You must have sufficient physical dexterity, ability and knowledge to safely load, ride and unload lifts. If in doubt, ask the lift attendant.”
There are no weight restrictions on either the Chairlift or the Downhill Karts.
We recommend you wear comfortable clothing and covered toe shoes.
For safety reasons, expectant mothers are not permitted to ride the track.
Our purpose-built karts are gravity-fuelled, and the rider has full control over speed and direction using a unique braking and steering system, so the speed depends on you!
Yes, you can bring your own helmet. Full-faced helmet visors should be open when interacting with our staff.
Please note: In order to purchase photos and videos of your experience you’ll need to grab an RFID sticker and attach it to your helmet. This enables us to locate your photos and videos.
